It is not spoken about much in therapy but humour is really important to me. This picture combined with the title of this blog makes me smile. I have a thought of someone hiding in there, waiting to be found. Ready to jump out and say hello. Of course hiding and being lost are two very different things. HIding can lead to being lost though particularly if it never feels safe enough to come out. Being a therapist can be like being an explorer or leading a search party to find the person who has been in hiding, often for years and helping them risk coming out into the world.
